Physical Therapy

Physical therapy and rehabilitation needs to be an individualized experience. Every patient will have different symptoms, deficits, physical demands, and goals for their sessions. This is why the cookie cutter, three times per week, experience is not right for everyone.

By providing a thorough evaluation, collaborating on realistic and obtainable goals, and carrying through with focused attention at each visit, it allows us to exceed each patient's expectations. This is not a typical physical therapy experience.

What to Expect...

Self Management & Injury Prevention

Once you have achieved your goals and it is time to transition to self management, we will not abandon you. This is one of the most important timeframes of the rehabilitation process and we will make sure to provide you with all of the education and resources needed to not only maintain, but improve upon your current condition.

At your last visit, you will be provided with a thorough home exercise program that will keep you moving in the right direction. All of our patients have a direct line of communication with their therapist and this does not change once you achieve your goals. You are a part of the Resolve Physio family and we will always be there for you as a resource.

Additionally, for those that want a more formal transition into physical activity, we do offer personal training services for our clients as well.

FAQs

Do I need a referral for physical therapy?

No! Ohio is a direct access state, so in the vast majority of cases, you do not need a referral from a physician to come to physical therapy. We will always check with your insurance company to make sure this is the case before your first visit.
